Whirlwind

Its been a few months since I posted here, and during that time, we at JDS have definitely been busy. Between creating jewelry and keeping our stock for shows, and working the actual shows, and keeping stock in the shops that carry our jewelry, plus the other jobs that also help pay bills,  i feel like it hasnt stopped. Not to mention that my bf and i also got a 7 month old puppy. People said that getting a puppy is *kind of* like having a kid… yeah —  i didnt believe them, until now.   

Have i also mentioned that i am eternally grateful for everything? Though the list above might sound like im venting, i am so very lucky to have all that going on. Its definitely been a wild ride – with a lot of ups and downs – but I wouldnt change any of it. And just in the past few months JDS has grown significantly. We are working with a new studio that will soon be carrying our hair clips. We are trying to schedule new shows for the fall/winter. And we are working hard on the new line of sock-monkeys and sock-bunnies (which people really seem to like! : ) )

So, thats a short and sweet version of whats happening here at JDS. Once i finally figure out the correct life/work balance, i hopefully will be returning to the “normal” world of the living… (and might actually keep in better touch with family and friends : ) )
